How the receipt is made
Nothing is estimated from a list of known launchpads. The tax is read off each of your trades.
Measuring tax
For every swap your wallet made, we follow where each token went. What reached a liquidity pool was your trade. What ended up anywhere else, a launchpad hook, a creator wallet, a burn, a router, was taken from you. That is the tax on the receipt.
It works the same for every launchpad and every kind of tax, because it never needs to know who took the money, only that it left your trade.
- Your wallet history comes from the chain, not from us.
- Each trade is priced in dollars with the Chainlink price at that block. A trade between two memecoins borrows the rate from your nearest trade in one of them, within a day; the receipt says how many were priced that way.
- Trades that move ETH through several pools are followed through the transaction trace, so their fees count too.
- Liquidity-pool fees are not counted. They are part of the price, not a tax.
Checked against the largest launchpad on the chain: in 30 random trades our figure matched the hook's own fee to the wei in 28 and within 0.1% in the other 2.
The rebate
Trades of TAX pay 5% in tax. 3.5% goes to the treasury, 1.2% runs the project, 0.3% is the launchpad's fee. The treasury pays rebates.
| Rate | Treasury ÷ (2 × the tax paid by everyone who connected), capped at 20% of what you paid. |
|---|---|
| Your claim | Your tax × today's rate, paid in ETH, at most 5% of the treasury per claim. |
| How often | One receipt per wallet per day. New tax since your last claim earns a new rebate. |
| Who | Only wallets that connect. Nobody is on a list in advance. |
The rate is the same for everyone at the same moment and always visible on the front page. The treasury can never promise more than it holds: the sum of everything claimable is at most half of it.
What this is not
It is not a refund. Nobody gets their tax back in full, and the rate falls as more wallets connect. TAX is a token with a tax; the rebate is a mechanical use of that tax, not income, yield or a promise of any amount.
